In this episode, Andrew welcomes his colleague, Anthony M. Brown, Esq. Anthony is well known and highly respected LBGTQ lawyer and activist in New York City. For the past 15 years, Anthony has served the legal needs of the LGBTQ community. He is currently the head of Family and Estates Division and Senior Associate at the law firm of Chianese &Reilly Law, PC.

Anthony is the Founding Chairman of the Board of Men Having Babies, Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA), member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, LGBT Bar of New York, New York Attorneys for Adoption and Family Formation (NYAAFF) and the National LBGT Bar Association. Anthony is also the 2016 recipient of the Gay CityNews Impact Awards.

Anthony has just incorporated his own firm, Time for Family Law, which primarily assists Gay individuals and couples create families and then once their created, protect them. Antony dives into the world of adoption, surrogacies and helps guide us through the journey to starting a family in the LBGTQ community working toward making sure parental rights are ensured and protected.

Andrew and Anthony will also go back in time to the start of Anthony’s journey to legal greatness. The story begins with Acting with Anthony attending Juilliard going on to be a working actor being featured on Broadways and some well know Soap Operas like All My Children. The journey takes Anthony to working with terminal illness, particularly HIV+ patients in the LGBTQ community which leads Anthony to one of his first clients, that changed Anthony’s life forever and started him on his path becoming the lawyer he is today.

The podcast closes with Anthony sharing he and his husband’s incredible journey of being a gay couple and having a child. The heartwarming, incredible journey will you give you an insight into the amazing and rewarding journey of surrogacy that will surely change hearts and minds.
